White Star Quarry will be hosting the Third annual WSQ Digital Underwater Photography contest over the July 4th weekend.
 

	Rules are subject to change: Registration starts at 9am Friday, July 2 and Runs through Saturday July 3 at 2pm.
	Participants will be required to sign a participation liability release and a photo use release.
	All participants must be registered at the scuba concession prior to participation.
	All divers and snorkelers must fill out a dive permit envelope and pay for diving on the days they participate.
	Divers may submit as many photos as they wish in each category but the entry fee is $2 per photo submitted.
	Non divers may participate in the contest.
	Photos may be enhanced using a "photo shop" type program but must be submitted ready to show. Photographers must provide their own Laptop for editing
	All photos must be taken on July 2 and 3 on the White Star Park property and submitted by two pm on July 3.
	Judges decisions will be final. Winners will be announced at 4pm on July 3 Categories are still being arranged but will include 1. Best Overall photo 2. Snorkeling Photos 3. Non Diver "Lifestyle" Photos 4. Macro 5. Underwater Life 6. Wide Angle 7. Diver Poses Winners will be announced that evening at our evening presentation at 4pm at the quarry on July 3! First Prize in each category (and possibly the runner up) will be published in an upcoming issue of MIDWEST DIVE NEWS! We are still looking for prize donations but right now you can expect a free day of diving at the quarry, a 10 air fill card from White Star Quarry, accessories from Divers Incorporated, Subscriptions to Midwest Dive News, a hat from New Wave Scuba, a Dive bag from Anchor bay Scuba, two tickets to Newport Aquarium, posters, hats and other diving stuff.
